KARACHI/ISLAMABAD: Yaqoob Bizenjo – member of the National Assembly and a leader of the Balochistan National Party-Awami – and four members of his family were injured on Friday when a low-intensity bomb, concealed in a parcel sent to him, exploded at his residence in Karachi. 
A homemade device with approximately 200 grams of explosive material was used to prepare the parcel bomb, which exploded as soon the parcel was opened. Investigators have arrested five people, including three of the MNA’s servants, for questioning. The Balochistan Liberation Front has claimed responsibility for the attack, according to a private television channel. President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani have condemned the attack. faraz khan
