Pakistan protests Singh’s remarks

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad on Monday lodged a protest with New Delhi over Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s claim that Pakistan-based terrorist groups are planning fresh attacks against India. “The deputy high commissioner of India was summoned to the Foreign Office by the director general (South Asia),  and told that the Indian prime minister’s remarks warrant serious and prompt attention,”  said a Foreign Office spokesman,  adding that Pakistan had taken notice of the reported remarks by Singh.  The Indian official was also that Pakistan was willing to cooperate fully to pre-empt any terror attack. staff report
