Mohmmad Asif has made a comeback to the side , while Abdul Razzak is not picked (injured) and Akhtar couldn’t impress the selector. The 15-man team for the forthcoming Champions Trophy was announced today. Younis Khan will be the skipper while Afridi will be his deputy.
Looks to me as a very balance side, with two able men leading the team. All in all , a good performance is expected from this squad. The bowling in particular looks very strong with the inclusion of Asif, but the main worry will as always be the batting.

Shoaib Malik, Rana Naved-ul-Hasan, Fawad Alam & Shahid Afridi
Changes in the team management have also been made. Yawar Saeed will remain the manager while former Test cricketer Shafqat Rana will join him as associate manager. Mohtasim Rasheed has been assigned the job of fielding coach.The Champions Trophy will be played in South Africa from September 22.
