Bollywood fans and activists of Hindu nationalist party protests: The protests were against the alleged remarks from Shiv Sena leaders made against Shah Rukh Khan for his support for Pakistani players taking part in the Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket and for vandalising the theatres where Khan’s film are showing. The protest was against remarks by Thackerey, in which he allegedly called popular actors Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Amir Khan anti-nationals. Simultaneously another protest took place where activists of Hindu nationalist Shiv Sena lashed against Khan for speaking against the snubbing of Pakistan cricketers in last week’s Indian Premier League player auction.–AP & AFP Photos
